A recently recorded video conference, discussing how the people will take over the mainstream media. (Yeah, so I fucked up the start, but I wasn’t going to reconvene the meeting was I…)
I was out walking late the other night, about midnight, video camera in hand, and I stumbled across Fred. She was giving a monster a new home, making sure he wasn’t going to fall off. When she turned around, I scared her a bit, but we hit it off. When I got home, the visuals were too dark to see unfortunately, so I went back in the morning and reshot the monsters, and dubbed it with the original audio. Please enjoy Fred’s monster. There should be more people in this world as kind as Fred.
Preproduction for A Walk in the Black Forest episode 227. “Amusing. Not funny, but definitely amusing…”
In order of appearance: looking for working headphones; we forgot to bring the intro music; we download it from our web site; Abe’s a legend (apparently); Pete forgets the tape we record onto (because I stole it); finding a kick (after the introduction) song; making Abe jealous; having fun with mic/sound checks; the show starts.
Podcasters can bite us.

Just a little story of what happened to me the other day.
Unrelated though, I do want to take this opportunity to highlight one of the great unsung heroes of the vlogging world, Jay Dedman. Well, not so much unsung, as he gets a little sung at times, but Jay is always friendly, always helpful, massively humble, and every day it would seem, he gets out there and pushes what we’re trying to do with citizen media. Without him, I don’t know where we’d be.
This video has nothing to do with you Jay, but I’ll dedicate it to you anyway. Thanks for helping me out the other day, with dumb arse Ourmedia’s video backlog.
People are the answer, empower them for change.
In performance, timing is everything. Well, not everything, but quite a lot anyway. And wouldn’t you know it that the very day I do another remix of one of Ian’s 05 Project videos, Ourmedia.org decides to crap itself, and Internet Archive turns willing accomplice. So here it is, five days late, with rather less impact than it would have had… Singleton watches vlogs.
Last Friday was Victor’s last day with our company, but as per usual, Singleton stole the show.
Another out take from Singleton’s new show. It’s coming, I promise.
Trailer for a new film I want to see, that is coming out in May.
